BCR&S Ranked a Top National Law Firm by U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers

U.S. News & World Report’s inaugural Best Law Firms ranking has recognized Berkes Crane Robinson & Seal LLP (BCRS) as one of only 24 "Tier 1" national insurance practice law firms.

Since before receiving this honor, BCRS and its attorneys also have been listed in Chambers USA America's Leading Business Lawyers, The Best Lawyers in America, California Magazine's Super Lawyers and California Who's Who Legal. The U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers rankings are based on surveys completed by  thousands of law firm clients (including every Fortune 100 company and 587 of the Fortune 1000 companies), leading lawyers and law firm managers, partners and associates, marketing and recruiting officers. The surveys asked about factors considered vital to law firm hiring or referral decisions including expertise, responsiveness, understanding of a business and its needs, cost-effectiveness, civility, and whether they would refer another client to a firm. Information was also collected about billing ranges, pro-bono commitment, diversity and the significance of major legal matters undertaken by the firm that cannot be weighed in monetary terms. The survey ranked nearly 9,000 firms in 81 practice areas in 171 metropolitan areas and 7 states. Less than 5% of the ranked firms earned the “Tier 1” national ranking in 39 practice areas.
